Think Twice Before Investing in Expensive Printing Supplies

When my custom-made t-shirt business began to suffer financially, I wanted to begin handing out printed advertisements and having take-home t-shirt pricing materials printed to advertise my low prices that many people didn't know about. Although I had great supplies to print on t-shirts, they differ greatly from traditional printers. I was looking to invest in a good laser printer, but I came across an online advertisement for a printing service while I was browsing. I did some quick calculations, and I figured out that I could have a huge number of professional printed materials made several times each year for just a fraction of the investment price of that new printer I was looking into. I created this blog to share my experience with other business owners looking to save cash wherever they can. For me, I saved greatly by outsourcing printing of my promotional items.

Four Features To Consider Adding To Your Business's Holiday Stationary

When the holidays roll in, many changes mark the occasion and make it more memorable. As a business owner, you may do a lot of things to make holidays special for both your employees and your customers or clients. However, custom holiday stationery can be an excellent way to highlight the season.

Whether the stationary is used only in-office for day-to-day written interactions or sent out via the mail to customers on your mailing list, custom stationery offers just a bit more personality for the holidays. Take a look at a few customization ideas to consider when you buy custom holiday stationery for your business.

Incorporate Your Brand Logo

Despite the stationery being festive and seasonal, it will still be just as important that the stationery is recognizable as affiliated with your business. Therefore, make sure your brand or company logo is incorporated into the design. For example, you could make the logo the main focal point of the stationery, but add festive decor around that logo, such as frosty snowflakes or twinkling lights. Or, you could opt for a more muted or translucent logo layout with holiday elements printed across the top or bottom of the page.

Add a Seasonal Message

The holidays tend to be filled with messages and sentiments of good tidings and merrymaking. An easy way to make sure every recipient gets this kind of message with your custom holiday stationery is simply to opt to have the message incorporated right on the page. For example, you could have one of the following messages printed on the stationery along with the graphic imagery:

  • Happy Holidays from [Brand Name]
  • [Brand Name] Wishes You the Most Cheerful Holiday Season
  • Sincere Wishes from [Brand Name] for a Happy Holiday
  • At [Brand Name], We're Thinking of All of You During the Holiday Season

Opt for Business Related Graphics

You could take a lot of directions with the graphic elements you choose to include in custom holiday stationery for your business. While you may be tempted to simply go with classic or traditional elements like gifts, garlands, and bows, consider adding elements that relate to your business. For example, a veterinarian's office may want to add a dog or cat in a Santa hat. Likewise, a mechanic shop could add a graphic of Santa working on his sleigh. Even holiday graphics can be used to personify the business, the brand, and your mission as a company.
