I did some quick calculations, and I figured out that I could have a huge number of professional printed materials made several times each year for just a fraction of the investment price of that new printer I was looking into. Once you choose your bag you can hire a printing company to print your logo on the bag, as well as any kind of message that you want.

Train Your Staff

This is because your sales associates represent your brand. Hire someone to simply stand at the entrance and greet customers as they walk through the door. Your sales associates should ask the customer if they need help only one time. They should never follow the customers around the store but simply be available to them if they need help.

You need to have ongoing training with your employees. This is especially true of new hires or if you hire seasonal employees.  

Train your closing staff to have your retail store ready to open the next morning. This way you will not have to worry about doing anything except to open the door. This may take them longer but it will be well worth it.

Besides these things, make sure your store is always clean and keep your products in stock as much as you can.
